Please note the following...

Folder subscriptions should have carried over, but if you find yours have not, please get in touch.

If you get a certificate error, please accept the certificate as it is safe to do so.

Web server updates - PHP4

We have upgraded the webservers running PHP4 to 4.4.8. This is a maintenance release to remedy various bugs.

Please be aware that Zend, the makers of PHP are strongly urging web developers to move to PHP 5, having ended new development of PHP4 since December 2007. We second this, and provide PHP 5 by default for new web hosting accounts.

That said, the various differences in operation between PHP4 and 5 e.g. object copy vs reference, etc will cause problems for legacy sites until they are brought up to date. Therefore we will continue to provide PHP 4 as an option for as long as it is safe to do so.
